Easter

During Easter we had Roger and Debbie and the Frenchies here. Mom made a delicious meal, of course, and we had a fabulous time being together.

Frenchies

We were really fortunate to have the Frenchies (Amatchi's siblings) come and visit for a few weeks. We went to the beach, where it rained nearly the entire time. We were were blessed to have several family members from Utah and California make the long trek to visit them. My Amtachi's health is failing now and this is most likely the last time the Frenchies will see my Grandma. They were so kind and loving, bringing us presents and showing so much love and affection, even though most of us don't speak French. Damian had a phone that translated so that made it easier. The last time I saw them was just after Mary was born at Amatchi's 80th birthday. I really love them and appreciate their kindness in coming.

Nikki's Toe Jam

Nicole likes to look through toes to find toe jam...whether it's her own or someone else's. She is hilarious!

Jogathan

Here is Mary jogging at our school Jogathan and fundraiser. She was pretty fast actually. Mrs. Bjorge is such a darling teacher, I loved seeing her run with them.

Snow Day

It's a snow day today! School is, of course cancelled, and we are playing. I love living next door to cousins, especially at times like these. They are so good to my kids.

Stanley Visits

This is Stanley. He came to visit us from Emma and Grace in Utah. With it being winter, we had to be creative with the fun things he could do (especially since Medford's best touristy times are in the summer and around the great outdoors). We took him around Harry and David (an excuse to eat fudge) played around the house and sent some pictures back of his travels.

The funny thing is I used to do this when I was a teacher. We'd read the book Flat Stanley and then send him in the mail across the world. I had heard about the idea from my cousin in LA who sent me her Flat Stanley when I was in high school. I guess it's an idea that's been around a while.

Love at home

There is beauty all around, when there's love at home. I'm so grateful for all the love in this home...Happy Valentine's Day!
