Tonight we celebrated out friend's birthday at a hands-on cooking demonstration of authentic Thai foods. I learned a lot about the culture and tried some new things. The location was gorgeous and the company was the best part of the evening.

Cameron loves to drink and play in all things liquid...you can tell by his typical saggy diaper. I can't wait until he's potty trained because we go through a giant Costco diaper box pretty quickly around here.
Cameron's diapers aren't the only thing that he drags around. His phrases are dragged out and his intonation usually sounds like a question. If I were to say, "Grandma's in the kitchen" His reply would be an extended, "in the kiiiiitcheeeeen?" Or if he wanted something to drink, he'd say "more water pleeeeese moooommmy?'

I hope I can teach my girls to treasure their divine worth as women and embrace all that is good and right.
Today we took a break from the summer schedule we (I) invented to keep our children in tip top shape physically, mentally, and spiritually. I wonder if I should be worried since it's only been a week of following the schedule and we (I) are (am) already exhausted from it? The hardest part has been keeping the kids motivated and happy to complete the list. My favorite part has been using some of my rusty teaching skills with the children. We ended up getting most of it done today anyway just mingled with some fun creative playtime. Maybe that's a better way to do it? I'm still trying to figure it all out.
This year all of my children benefit from swim lessons with Sarah. Man is she a great instructor and the kids can't get enough of her creative games and lessons. I am totally entertained watching her as well. What a talent! I am so happy that Nicole went in the water this year.
I've been extremely blessed to be raised by a very caring, loving, humble, meek, patient, gentle, and inspiring father. His goodness and testimony have brought me closer to the Savior. I love to be around him and discussing church topics is one of my favorite things to do with him.

What better way to celebrate Annie's eighth birthday than to gather together for her baptism? It was a wonderful morning and the kids enjoyed her water party in the afternoon. Happy birthday Annie! You are loved!
