It was a good Saturday.

Finally, Noah's Day of the Famous poster in done!

The kids made up a work out room! This is too much!

Allison's baptism. Sweet friends.

Look at this text Aaron got of this darling family on the bus! They look a little familiar. We asked if they got a discount for their modeling. Nope.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Aaron took the girls to the dance following Cameron's soccer game. I hung out with the boys and watched a movie together. I love these small little dates. They are the best.

Crazy Weather

It's been super hot, such a drastic change in such a short time that instead of being so excited to pull out the flip flops, I got worried that it I wasn't quite ready for it. And then, this evening a huge storm rolled in and it dropped 30 degrees in just a few hours! It's supposed to be getting cool again. Where is our mild Spring?

Keeping His Boyish Distance

Christine watched the kids today while I took Mary to violin lessons. She sent me this photo doing nails. I noticed that Cameron kept a healthy distance away from the activity. I asked him afterwards why he wasn't helping and he said because it's just for girls. I thought so.

Happy May Day!

Here are some streamers of pink, yellow, and blue,
a reminder of Spring and things that are new.
Together they make a maypole for you
and a wish for a happy May Day too!

At school today Cameron made some flowers with chocolates and this little card to deliver to anyone he wanted. He choose his aunt Christine. So, we dropped it off on our way home and she was pretty surprised.

Maybe not as surprised as I was to learn that following piano lessons today, Eddy (the piano teacher's son) snuck into the back of our car and came home with us! I knew the kids were acting strange with lots of giggling, but they didn't spill the beans until Aaron walked in the door after coming home and taking Eddy back to his house. Oh boy! I'm such an observant mother. Apparently they played outside with him while I prepared dinner. He even went into the master bedroom window and ran upstairs right while I was in the kitchen!

Primary

I really love working in the Primary and being with my children each Sunday. And when it comes to Primary presidents, we hit the jack pot. We also practiced our Mother's Day song with Mary at the violin. She played beautifully. 'Crying Mama' kept the kids happy although I'm not sure it actually improved their singing much. Oh well! I'm learning in baby steps. Following church we had a family dinner to celebrate Mary just one more time.
