Rise and Shout!

I taught a rowdy bunch of four years olds in primary this morning, Not sure why they were noisier than normal, but Cameron didn't seem to get caught up in the ruckus, thankfully. He acted so mature in sharing time--singing and observing like I hadn't seen him do before.

I came home and rolled out 4 dozen rolls and helped my mom prep for our family dinner. Tonight we celebrated Emma's BYU acceptance at a cougar themed night. I can't help but think of all the excitement in store for Emma (and Jackson)...new adventures, lots of growth, critical choices, friendships, and romance...it's a special time in one's life. I recall being in my freshman year dorm when I received a call that I was an aunt for the first time. Life goes round and now the second generation of Idiarts are sharing in the blessings of BYU.

Following our dinner and some entertainment from our little cougarette, Estelle, Damian dove into some more genealogy work, uploading photos and pulling up pedigrees. I can't help but wonder what our posterity will experience. I'm so grateful to be a link in this family chain.
