Today we met with Mary's Battle of the Books team at lunch. Nikki and Cameron helped me carry in some slurpees for them. We reviewed the book titles and authors, chose a spokesperson, recorded the books they have read, and made assignments for our weekly meeting. It's a sweet and bright group of kids, and I love the team name they came up with.
