Today was filled with soccer games and sunshine. Noah scored the first goal of the season. Mary scored three goals, helping her team stay undefeated. We took full advantage of this beautiful day and planted trees and flowers of all sorts. Aaron made perfect lawn mowing lines. It was just the kind of Saturday you dream of. Then during family scripture study we happen to land on Alma 32. The analogy played in perfectly to our day of gardening, and it's one of my favorite chapters. Love this scripture:
But if ye will nourish the word, yea, nourish the tree as it beginneth to grow, by your faith with great diligence, and with patience, looking forward to the fruit thereof, it shall take root; and behold it shall be a tree springing up unto everlasting life.
