Mary has been asked to give an oral report this Thursday. It is on a topic of her choice. Since we got the assignment last week she has been so eager and anxious to get it done. This should be a good thing, but I have had a few other commitments so I have been having to hold her off a bit. Luckily, we came up with a topic that she is just absolutely ecstatic to report on..her new cousin Kirabo.
We have called Rebecca to get some details, we have written the report, we have printed pictures, and planned a Ugandan food to bring to school. Last night we started the first half of this poster. Tonight we will finish the rest. One exciting thing about this report is that she is giving it on her teacher's birthday. She is going to keep it a surprise and we are going to have the class say Happy Birthday in Ugandan, or maybe it's Swahili, still not sure. Her presentation is Thursday and it's the first thing she talks about in the morning and the last thing at night. I think she is a little bit like her mom.
